Procurement / Supply Chain Manager

  • Future Opportunity
  • London
  • Full-time

This is a future opportunity rather than an active vacancy. This role would lead how Paragon Studio sources, buys and moves the materials and products behind our work, protecting quality, margin and delivery timelines across an international supply chain. It suits someone who can balance the precision our products demand with the commercial discipline a growing business needs. While this may not be a live vacancy today, we welcome expressions of interest from experienced people.

About the role

Our equipment is precision-engineered and built to an exacting specification, often from specialist materials and made-to-order components. A Procurement / Supply Chain Manager would own supplier relationships, sourcing strategy and the logistics that get products to clients around the world, on time, to specification and at the right cost.
You would sit at the intersection of quality, cost and delivery, and your decisions would directly affect both margin and client experience. As the business grows across new territories, you would also help build the supplier base, processes and forecasting discipline needed to scale without compromising standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships with suppliers, manufacturers and freight partners
  • Own sourcing strategy across materials, components and finished products
  • Negotiate pricing, terms and lead times that protect both margin and quality
  • Plan and manage inbound and outbound logistics, including international freight and customs
  • Maintain stock levels and forecasting aligned to project demand
  • Identify and mitigate supply risk, from single-source dependencies to lead-time volatility
  • Work with design and production teams to ensure specifications are met in full
  • Track supplier performance and drive continuous improvement on cost and reliability

What we're looking for

  • Proven procurement or supply chain experience, ideally in manufacturing or premium products
  • Strong negotiation skills and genuine commercial discipline
  • A working understanding of international logistics, freight and customs
  • Attention to detail and a real appreciation of quality and specification
  • The ability to balance cost, quality and delivery without compromising the brand
  • Sound judgement on risk and supplier dependency
  • Comfort working across design, production and finance

Ideal background

Procurement or supply chain roles in manufacturing, furniture, fit-out, luxury goods or engineering. We welcome people from sectors where quality and precision are non-negotiable.

Why Paragon Studio

Paragon Studio designs and delivers wellness spaces for some of the world’s most discerning clients, across luxury residential, hospitality, commercial and superyacht projects. Founded on Ed Thomas’s work designing gyms for the majority of the world’s largest yachts, the business has built a reputation for design-led, precision-engineered work, and partnerships with names such as Harrods, Soho House and Vogue.

For an ambitious person early in their career, few roles offer this proximity to how a premium business is actually built, or this much real responsibility, this quickly.
