Warehouse Manager
This is a future opportunity rather than an active vacancy. Based at our warehouse in Glastonbury, this is a hands-on role running the day-to-day operation, ensuring products are received, stored, handled and dispatched to the standard our clients expect. It suits someone who takes pride in a well-run, orderly operation and understands that how a luxury product is handled reflects the brand. While this may not be a live vacancy today, we are always interested in hearing from exceptional people who could contribute to Paragon Studio as we grow.
About the role
Every piece of Paragon Studio equipment passes through our warehouse before reaching a client, whether a private residence, a hotel or a superyacht. A Warehouse Manager would own goods-in, storage, picking, packing and dispatch, ensuring products are protected, accurately recorded and shipped on time.
In a business where presentation and finish matter, careful handling is not a detail; it is part of the product. As volumes grow, you would also shape the systems, layout and team needed to keep the operation precise, safe and scalable.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations: goods-in, storage, picking, packing and dispatch
- Ensure products are handled and stored to protect finish and quality
- Maintain accurate inventory records and high stock accuracy
- Coordinate dispatch and shipping with logistics partners and the wider team
- Manage warehouse layout, space and equipment for safety and efficiency
- Uphold health and safety standards and ensure compliance
- Lead and develop warehouse staff as the operation grows
- Work closely with procurement, sales and operations to meet delivery commitments
What we're looking for
- Experience managing a warehouse or fulfilment operation, ideally with premium or fragile goods
- Strong organisation and a high standard of order and cleanliness
- Sound knowledge of inventory management and dispatch processes
- A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to lead a team
- Attention to detail and genuine care in handling high-value products
- A clear awareness of health and safety requirements
- Reliability and visible pride in a well-run operation
Ideal background
Warehouse, logistics or fulfilment management, particularly with premium, fragile or high-value goods such as furniture, equipment or luxury products.
