Paragon Studio was approached to design and outfit a home gym within a garage conversion, the final stage of a wider renovation of the client’s home. The household trains across boxing, weights, Pilates and cardio, so the brief was a simple, effective setup that could support every discipline without overcrowding the room. The client’s Pinterest mood board set a clear Scandinavian direction, built around wood floors and panelling.

With only hand-drawn architectural plans available, our design team worked directly from the drawings and a series of calls with the client to build an accurate layout. The sloped roof, rising from 2.1m to 3m, along with the planned position of the air conditioning unit, shaped where each piece of equipment could sit. 

The final selection combines Paragon Studio pieces in oak and stainless steel with performance equipment from our partners. A two-panel Wall Unit Complete Package anchors the room, housing Diabolo Dumbbells, Luxury Kettlebells and leather medicine balls. A 4ft leather boxing bag in tan and brown serves the boxing training, with cork yoga accessories, a Nohrd Exercise Ball and Balance board for Pilates and mobility. A Nohrd Adjustable Bench and a foldable NordicTrack treadmill complete the space, joining the client’s existing Peloton bike. 

The result is a compact, multi-discipline gym that brings boxing, strength, Pilates and cardio together in one calm, natural space.
